Now, as to my Windows 7 car diagnostic laptop, I was able to put the SD card in either adaptor and Windows Explorer found it on both occasions. Not only that, but to rule things out, I also used the SD adaptor I got when I bought my dashcam six years ago and it still works. As for the adaptor, it's brand new, as it came with the SD card.
